Commencement is always a wonderful special event, as a new beginning after the well-deserved ceremony that celebrates the completion of a degree, pursuing the honored graduating students’ dreams. The 2024 commencement festivities hosted by the Romanian-American University (RAU) were again a new great way to keep up to date with the things that are important for the honored graduating students.
The 2024 commencement event at the RAU School of Management-Marketing was filled with a lot of enthusiasm and joy among both the honored graduates, and the faculty and administrative staff. RAU Rector Costel Negricea (former Dean five years ago) gave a great speech on this special occasion, his insights and expertise making a significant impact on the audience. His speech reminded us of his assumed responsibility and determination in ensuring the latest tools, techniques and the practical framework for successfully executing RAU School of Management-Marketing’s strategy in the fast changing learning and business environments, including by: adequately approaching learning innovation in the digital age, considering today’s digitally connected marketplace and boosting students’ management and marketing skills; understanding the role of AI in the so-called “empathy economy” and so on.
The RAU School of Management-Marketing is continuing its plans to grow, with a firm guiding principle of “quality growth”, by increasing the quality of educational experience, research excellence and overall effectiveness, while leveraging its existing strengths through strategic alliances with successful organizations, companies and experts at the leading edge of business, research and development. It is an obvious great effort made in order to transform the lives of students, create new knowledge, support business and professions and contribute to the global progress of society, nurturing existing partnerships and seeking new ones.
